In addition to its established Himalayan network, Sierra Birds has expanded its operations internationally into Tibet and the mountainous regions of China. Its current Chinese operational range includes Sichuan, Wuyishan, Balanshan, Ruoergai, Gannan, and surrounding highland and mountain regions farther north.
This gives Sierra Birds a broad trans-Himalayan birdwatching network, connecting all of the most important moutaineous bird watching tour destinations of India, Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, and China.

Sierra Birds is the sister concern of Sikkim Birds Tours & Travels, established as an operational extension of the mother company to serve the growing international interest in birdwatching across the Himalayas, Northeast India, Southeast Asia, and China.
